Advantages Of The “Tiger Claw” Geometric Form

Engineered for predictable stability from day one. A narrowing cylinder body and sharp, round-faced threads deliver easy insertion, maximum bone contact, and reliable load resistance over time.

• Narrowing cylinder design
• Great initial and continual implant stability
• Easy insertion and optimal cutting efficiency (due to the sharp thread shape)
• Increased surface area (due to the round-faced design)
• Excellent Primary stability
• Extraordinary bone-to-implant contact
• High resistance to compressive forces
• Minimized shear force during implantation
• Supports angiogenesis & sustains blood supply

Two Spiral Channel & a Domed Apex (head/top)

XGATE’s implant is composed of a domed apex that provides high tolerance, and two cutting blades at the bottom that provide selfscrewing properties. This enables a simpler, quicker, and, more importantly, safer procedure. Rounded apex prevents perforation near vital anatomical structures.

Dual Thread

XGate’s dual thread design doubles the implant’s insertion rate (2.0mm), facilitating a simpler and faster implant placement. Additionally, the self-screwing and low bone compression properties improve primary stability.

Platform Switching

XGATE’s built-in platform switching system within the implant keeps it away from bone, thereby minimizing bone resorption. Furthermore, it enables the excellent growth of the soft tissue.

The present study confirms that the platform-switching concept can minimize marginal bone loss over a one year period, in agreement with the previous trial and recent meta-analysis. Specifically, average marginal bone loss around non-platform-switched implants (0.78 mm mesially and 0.90 mm distally) was more than twice the average marginal bone loss around platform-switched implants (0.30 mm mesially and 0.38 mm distally).

Surface Treatment Pure & Porous

An optimal combination of SLA and RBM and is free from their drawbacks.

It consists of Hydroxyapatite (HA) blasting, soft acid dissolution of remaining HA, and surface beneficiation. Highly porous two-level surface microstructure. Chosen abrasive- biocompatible, readily soluble and easily removable Hydroxyapatite (HA).

This is done through conducting comprehensive quality assurance evaluations throughout the entire production process on a daily basis.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What is Pure&Porous surface technology?
Pure&Porous combines SLA (sandblasted, large-grit, acid-etched) and RBM (resorbable blast media) processing on Grade 4 pure titanium. The dual treatment creates both macro- and micro-surface textures that accelerate osteoblast attachment and bone-to-implant contact.
What is the difference between X3 and X11?
X3 uses an internal hex connection (2.42mm) with platform switching — ideal for universal applications. X11 uses a 22° conical connection — providing a cold-welded seal for superior micro-gap elimination and lateral load distribution.
When is the Slim Line implant indicated?
Slim Line is designed for narrow alveolar ridges, limited interdental spaces, lateral incisor positions, and lower anterior sites where a standard 3.3mm+ implant cannot be placed. At 3.0mm diameter with a 16° conical connection, it provides stability where space is the limiting factor.
Can XGATE implants be used for immediate loading?
Yes, when primary stability thresholds are met (typically 35+ Ncm insertion torque). The self-tapping thread design and Pure&Porous surface are engineered to achieve high initial mechanical anchorage, supporting immediate provisionalization in appropriate clinical scenarios.
What bone densities are XGATE implants designed for?
All XGATE implants are engineered for D1 through D4 bone. The self-compressing cone-like geometry adapts during insertion — providing controlled compression in soft bone and safe placement in dense cortical bone.
What is platform switching and why does it matter?
Platform switching means the abutment diameter is narrower than the implant platform. This shifts the implant-abutment micro-gap inward, away from the crestal bone. Clinical evidence shows this reduces marginal bone loss and improves soft tissue stability long-term.
    Where to get dental implants?
Dental implants, abutments and other components can be ordered from this site or
directly from our warehouse in the United States.
